UNLOCK CABLE — 18-24 CUMMINS 6.7L
Whatever the wire colours, the pins go in positions six and fourteen. If you install the cable and cannot connect to the truck, swap the two wires.
Installing the EZ Lynk and EFI Live bypass cable on a 2018–2024 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins by re-pinning two positions in the OBDII connector. A 1.5mm wide flat terminal release tool or a pointed sewing needle works for removing pins.
Steps
1 Twist the tan and yellow wires together
At least one twist every two inches.
2 Remove the OBDII connector from the dash
Carefully depress the tabs on the sides.
3 Remove the two grey pin retainers from the back of the connector
4 Replace the wires in positions six and fourteen, one at a time
2018: replace the yellow wire with yellow and the brown wire with tan.
2019–2024: replace the yellow wire with tan and the brown/green wire with yellow.
No matter the wire colours, the pins go in positions six and fourteen. If you cannot connect to the truck afterwards, try swapping the two wires.
